Introduction

The purpose of RADIP is to actively encourage individuals and groups to propose and work on innovative projects that align with Dope Wars' vision and values. We strongly believe in recognizing and rewarding those who have made significant contributions to the success of Dope Wars, regardless of whether the projects are profitable or not. With our funding model, we aim to foster a supportive environment where creativity and experimentation are valued and celebrated, and where community members are empowered to take risks and pursue their passions.

The Lowdown

Dope Wars Retroactive & Development Incentives Program (RADIP) is a program designed to encourage and reward contributions to the Dope Wars (DW) ecosystem. The program allows anyone to receive funding for their contributions to the project, which could include anything from developing new features or fixing bugs, to creating marketing materials or organizing community events.

RADIP is split into two programs a retroactive program and a developer program

RADIPs retroactive program, allows contributors to be rewarded for work they have already done, as well as for ongoing contributions. This is designed to encourage more people to get involved with the project, and a way for DW community to reward those who have created a positive impact

RADIP's developer program is designed to attract and retain talented builders, developers entrepreneurs who are interested in contributing to the project. The program offers rewards for various contributions, such as coding, bug fixes, game development and other contributions and improvements towards DW code base. In this DAO environment Development is not limited to the traditional definition of code based developments only. Developments can include contributions toward DAO Development. Examples can include promotions, collaborations with other Web3 projects, legal and administrative developments as well as other possible contributions that are valuable to DOPE DAO.

RADIP is a system that allows anyone to receive funding for their contributions to Dope Wars (DW). The programs are designed to align with the Optimism Collectives ethos of Impact=Profit, where the success of a project is measured not just by its financial return, but also by its positive impact on the ecosystem.
