How do I determine the value of NFTs or the items based on rarity? 如何根据稀有度确定持有NFTs的价值？

The effect of each item within the game is not yet determined as it is still in the design stages. It is the intent of the design team to respect the value proposition of rarity when approaching how to create in-game utility for each item. However, since there is no concrete information on what each item will be used for in a game environment, it is not possible to provide specific information on how to perceive the value of each item or the relative value based on their rarity.

Also, the perceived market value of the NFT is a function of many different factors, some buyers will simply buy AK-47s because of the perceived prestige and value of the item, irrespective of their relative rarity.

How is the rarity of each item determined? 每个物件的稀有度是如何被决定的？

Rarity for items within DOPE NFTs is determined by the number of times they appear within the overall collection.

Items within each slot grouping (weapon, vehicle, drug, etc.) have a differing number of occurrences of the base item. For example, Golf Cart is rarer than Rollerblades in the vehicle slot.

Modifiers

There are 3 modifiers that can increase the rarity of an item, listed below:

• Origin: This modifier adds a from location to the end of the item, such as “Zoloft from Chicago”.
• Title: This modifier adds a title to the front of the item, such as "Hell Bound Baron".
• +1: This is an additional modifier added to the end of the rarest items, adding a +1.

  • All +1 items are among the rarest in the collection, with a Black Market rarity ranking.

    

The combination of the base items’ overall rarity within its slot group, and the modifiers that may be attached to it are what factor into the rarity ranking for each item.

There is a numerical ranking for each item that quantifies this rarity value. The raw data can be seen on the following link, which was produced by a script that counted the number of occurrences of each item.
